form. It is free to upgrade
and the only charge would be
the price difference in the
plan you upgrade to. For example,
if you were paying $9.95 per

plan is $14.95 per month, you'd
only pay the $5.00 per month
difference.

What control panel do
you use and do you have a demo?
The control panel we use is
called cPanel. A demo of cPanel

Can I host friends?
Yes, you may host your friends.
If you want your friends to
have their own control panels
for their sites, you'll need
to get a reseller account.
How long does it take
to setup my account?
For security purposes, all orders
with gethosting.in are manually
checked for fraud.
Typically:
- Shared and Reseller accounts
take 15-25 minutes to set up.
- Semi-dedicated and dedicated
takes 24-48 hours to set up.
Upon signing up, you'll receive
an email stating that gethosting.in
has received your order and
is processing it. You may then
receive an email which states
if you have balances that need
to be paid prior to account
activation. After your order
has been paid verified, you
will receive your welcome email
and be on your way to getting
your web site online with gethosting.in.
Please note that if you wish
to pay with eCheck, a regular
check, money order, cash, Western
Union, etc., it may take longer
to activate your account while
we wait to receive payment.
Are there any hidden
costs, or setup fees?
No, there are no hidden costs
or fees associated with having
a hosting account at gethosting.in.
How much is extra bandwidth
and space?
If you need more bandwidth or
disk space, e-mail us to upgrade
you to a higher plan. If you
need more bandwidth or space
than our highest plan offers,
please email sales@gethosting.in
for a custom plan. We'll be
more than happy to work something
out to fit your needs.
Do you offer Telnet
or SSH access?
No, due to security reasons
we do not offer telnet or shell
access for shared and reseller
account. All dedicated servers
come with full Telnet and SSH
access. You are still able to
unzip files on the server using
our file manager as well as
the ability to setup cron jobs.
Additionally, our technical
support staff can run some commands
for if you need them.
Can I password protect
directories?
Yes, you can password protect
directories within cPanel.
